Online Interview Testing Process

1. Check Zoom usage environment and device in advance

Please use the following link to check that your device provides a suitable environment for Zoom.

2. Participate in Advance Connection Test (compulsory)

This advance operation test for online interviews involves using the same environment (device, network, room, etc.) as you will on the day of the interview.

Please enter the online room via the specified link at the date and time of the advance connection test stipulated for each type of selection process.

 

If 1 or 2 below apply to you, you should contact the University.

 

1: Applicants who have already participated in an advance connection test as part of a JFOU selection, who have applied to another selection process using the same test environment, and who do not wish to participate in an advance connection test

2: People withdrawing from application testing at the University

3. Participating in the Online Interview

Please enter the online room via the specified link at the meeting time listed on the digital examination admission card.

*You may be required to show your examination admission card and ID card to the camera before taking the interview.

 

Please print out the digital examination admission card and be sure to have it on hand, together with a photo ID such as your student ID.

 

*Limits to lateness

As it is an online interview, please check your connection carefully in advance, and prepare with plenty of time to spare.

Please be aware that interviewing candidates who enter the waiting room at the specified link after 50 minutes or more have elapsed past the meeting time (30 minutes or more after the meeting time for the practical examination of the Theater and Dance Program at the College of Performing and Visual Arts) will become ineligible to interview.

If you may be delayed in entering the waiting room due to unforeseen circumstances, please phone the emergency contact number on the digital examination admission card and follow the instructions of the examination supervisor.

Cautionary Notes

■ Lateness or Non-Attendance

Please be sure to contact JFOU in advance if you will be late or cannot attend due to unavoidable circumstances.

 

■ If internet connection issues etc. occur during the examination

Please phone the contact number written on the examination admission card if connection issues etc. occur. The University may phone a candidate in the event that the University determines that making contact is necessary.
